The International Journal of Water Sciences (IJWS) will publish original papers on all aspects of hydrology and water resources, which comprise physical, chemical, and biological processes of surface water and groundwater. The Editor-in-Chief of this ambitious publication is Dr Xixi Wang from the Old Dominion University, USA, while the founding editor is Dr. Imran Ahmad Dar from the Tamil University, India.

The aim of IJWS is to improve the understanding of the processes which occur in changing climates by presenting fundamental and applied research that seeks to quantify climate change at watershed scale as well as incorporate insights about these changes into engineering and/or management practices. The IJWS will also include papers that engage multidisciplinary approaches which will develop a better understanding about water quantity and water quality with climate change as a categorical variable. The journal will present original research articles, case studies, technical notes, opinion papers, book reviews, and comments on papers previously published in the journal. Papers can discuss innovative techniques and approaches, such as rationale, new or improved methods, modeling, experiments, or instrumentation.

The journal will be available as an open access publication via InTech's online reading platform, We are hoping it will be useful to your members as a future quality resource for discovering the latest research results, or as a medium to make their own work known to the world.
