Integrated Water Management is called the challenge for the 21st century. Worldwide, an increase can be seen in the demand for integrated competences, usable in water-related R&D. Research institutions, global businesses, specialised companies, consultancies and government institutions are feeling the need for highly qualified professionals in water technology, with the right skills for integrated water management.
Objectives
The advanced master Technology for Integrated Water Management is designed to equip the students with the competency to understand the state-of-the-art on water technology and integrated water management. The programme aims to improve the understanding of concepts and systems and enhances knowledge regarding tools and technologies. This will enable innovative planning and action from a new perspective and approach.
Organisers
The master Technology for Integrated Water Management is organised jointly by the interfaculty Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development (IMDO, www.ua.ac.be/imdo) of the University of Antwerp and the interfaculty Centre for Environmental Sanitation (CMS, www.cms.ugent.be) of Ghent University, together with the Antwerp Maritime Academy (AMA, www.hzs.be).
