    The Status and Future of the World’s Large Rivers

    which will take place in Vienna, Austria from 11th to 14th of April, 2011.

    This conference aims to provide a global forum for a wide-ranging discussion of key issues related to research on large rivers and to their effective and sustainable management, involving both scientists and decision makers.

    We strongly encourage scientists and practitioners to present their research results and experiences in the fields of

    - Hydrology, hydraulics & water quality

    - Sediment transport & river morphology

    - Ecology & restoration

    - Stresses, confliction demands and integrated management.
